We Are...

We are all connected!  As individuals we are an incredible combination of systems that integrate and work together to create how we feel day in and day out.  Physical health+mental health+emotional health+nutritional health+social health = overall well-being!  We can control and positively impact our overall well-being by implementing easy strategies within our routines that can help us to be the best version of ourselves possible.

We are currently experiencing a time of uncertainty that challenges what we know about ourselves and others.  Managing our emotional health becomes vital, as does the importance of balancing personal well-being to promote a healthy and positive response within ourselves and family systems as we face the current stressors in our communities across the globe.

Ms. Kathryne Rapp

9th and 12th Grade School Counselor

I have the pleasure of working with your child as one their school counselors at Global Concepts Charter High School! I am a Rochester native from a small town.  I made my way to Buffalo to attend SUNY Fredonia for my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from 2010-2014 and I completed my Master’s degree in School Counseling at Canisius College in 2017. I am so thrilled to be apart of the GCCHS team and ready to help your child.

I will mainly be working with 9th and 12th grade students but I am available help all of the students of GCCHS. I have experience working with students in individual and group counseling, along with career counseling, academic interventions, social/emotional counseling, and college application/entrance processes. Outside of work I enjoy to go for hikes and walks, listening to music, exploring different areas of Buffalo, and spending time with my family and friends.

Please feel free to email me at katerapp@globalccs.org. If you are one of my students: please see the counseling google classroom to keep updated on documents or announcements. I would love for the opportunity to get to know you, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
