Welcome to Global Concepts Charter School Athletics

  • Dear Global Family, 

    Global Athletics emphasizes commitment, development, participation and excellence.   The mission of our athletic program is to see our students grow as individuals while learning the values of commitment, sportsmanship, personal health and responsibility. Starting in the 2023 - 2024 school year, Global Concepts Charter School will be part of the ECIC League within Section VI, and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.  

    Spring sports are about to begin and if your child is looking to run or play softball, please visit our sports registration and Spring Sports pages.

    I am excited to announce that we will be partnering with Health Science Charter School and Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School and presenting a JV and Varsity Football team this coming Fall Season.  If your child is looking to play football this coming fall, sign them up for Track and Field to keep their fitness up.  Click here for a draft of the Varsity Football schedule.

    Please come back regularly for football updates and a football specific page is coming to our website after Spring Break.   

    In other important notes from this school year, I would like to recognize Senior Amaris Cudmore who represented Global during the Fall season in the Section VI Cross Country Championships, achieving a personal best on the course at Alden High School.

    In reviewing our winter season, thank you to our coaches and student athletes who worked hard this season in the classroom and on the court.  Due to a weather event, our Mary Walker Tournament did go exactly as planned, but in the end it was a day of great Global basketball with both Boys JV and Varsity getting victories.   Additionally, while the results were not what we hoped for, for the first time in the history of Global basketball BOTH the Boys Varsity and Girls Varsity earned the right to host sectional tournament basketball games.
