K-8 Curriculum Highlights
Curriculum Highlights
- Spanish and Arabic taught in Kindergarten through 8th Grade
- Extended Math and ELA Blocks
- All K-3 Students learn to play Violin
- Electives in grades 5-8 including Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Culinary Arts, Theater, Technology and Advanced PE
- Robust Support Services for ENL, Special Ed, and Academic Intervention
- Technology rich classrooms, students are 1:1 with Chromebooks
- All classrooms are equipped with interactive displays
- Algebra I available to 8th grade students
Math
- In Grades K-5, students and staff use the REVEAL Math Program.
- In Grades 6-8, students and staff use eMATHinstruction.
- Students in grades K-6 have a dedicated numeracy block where they use First in Math
ELA
- Our goal is to craft the best ELA program for our students and staff based on current research and student and staff user experience. We are utilizing the following programs:
- Savvas MyView Literacy for K-5th
- Savvas CommonLit for 7th
- Savvas MyPerspective for 6th and 8th
