He has also achieved his Doctorate at D'Youville University, exemplifying a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and leadership in youth empowerment.
Dr. McGee is not just an educator; he's a dynamic force in the world of youth empowerment! A nationally recognized and award-winning figure, he has turned the spotlight on young people facing challenges, earning numerous accolades from both National and New York State organizations for his unwavering commitment to at-risk youth. Under his inspiring leadership of the Youth Voices program, he was honored with the esteemed Black Achievers' Educational Incentive Award-an incredible recognition for his work in educating and empowering youth and communities.
But that's not all! Dr. McGee's impact on the field has been recognized far and wide, as he made the cut as one of the nation's top four 4-H youth development programs by the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HA) Urban 4-H Programming Task Force. His thought-provoking book, "Answering the Call: From Risk to Resiliency and From Passion to Purpose," reflects his commitment to inspiring change and fostering resilience.
As the CEO of Global Concepts Charter School, Tracy continues to redefine the concept of education. His previous work at the public school system's regional resource center allowed him to develop innovative training for twenty school districts throughout Western New York, focusing on enhancing School Climate and Culture, building cultural competence, and promoting Positive Youth Development.
Outside of his professional achievements, Tracy cherishes his family life with his wonderful wife, Tami Hollie-McGee, and their two amazing children, Treykel and Jada. In his downtime, you can find him enjoying quality moments with his family, immersing himself in a good book, or hitting the basketball court for a friendly game.
