Preparing for Alumni reception

The first Global Concepts Charter School Alumni Reception was held at our Ruben Santiago-Hudson Performing Arts Center.  The gathering was well attended and offered advice, support and inspiration.  Speakers included 2014, Davina Grace, 2015, Daniel Wilczewski, 2016, Rashaun Anderson, 2017, Michaela Kruger, and 2018 Mohammed Abbadi.  Alumni learned about opportunities to substitute teach and shared common experiences and challenges of the "real world."  As one alumni had said, "it is nice to see everyone has the same concerns."
