The goal of GCCS is to ensure that all students become successful readers.   GCCS uses curriculum based on Scientifically Based Reading Research (SBRR).  To supplement our curriculum, we utilize the professional skills of Reading Specialists who are highly qualified to meet the needs of students who are struggling to attain skills and strategies necessary to become successful readers.  Our Reading Specialists teach students both within the classroom reading block and during small group pull-out time.
