Faculty Chair: Liz Mastromatteo
Faculty Advisory Members: Kerry Buell, Jack Graham, Jennifer Peasland, Bryan Whitley-Grassi, Brandon Woods
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organizations recognizing outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students can be inducted into NHS at the end of sophomore, junior, or senior years.
In order to be eligible for National Honor Society students must have a minimum of an 85 overall average with no grades below 75 for a minimum of 2 consecutive quarters or 1 semester. Students must also maintain that average to keep their membership active.
Students will have to complete 10 hours on a community service project of their choice with help from faculty advisors. This is above and beyond the minimum hours the school requires.
