Here at Global Concepts we place a strong emphasis not only on academics but also on character. Quality character education helps schools create a safe, caring environment for every student and supports academic development. It fosters qualities that will help students be successful as citizens, in the workplace and with all academic curriculum. It lays the foundation to help students be successful in all academic goals we have for them.
At GCCS we honor students every day by encouraging each teacher (all grade levels and all specials subject areas) to record the acts of quality character that students display and submit a “Character Counts” form to the Principal.
This year we are honoring our “Character Counts” students with recognition at morning announcements and a character coin to be redeemed at the school bookstore.
Take the opportunity to talk to your child about the trait of the month!
